The Executive Committee of UEFA received five bids representing seven countries for selecting the host of Euro 2012: Croatia /Hungary (joint bid), Greece, Italy, Poland /Ukraine (joint bid) and Turkey. In first round, Greece and Turkey were eliminated by getting 2 votes and Italy achieved the maximum votes (11 votes). But in the final round, Poland & Ukraine gained maximum points by getting 8 votes and they beat Italy, having 4 votes more. The Euro 2012 Qualifications
Being host of Euro 2012, Ukraine and Poland make direct entry into the final event. Other 14 teams will be passionately contested by 51 European countries. There are 9 groups for the qualifying round. First 6 groups have 6 teams in total and the remaining 3 groups have 5 teams in total. Champions from every group will play the final event.

The Way of Buying Tickets for Euro 2012
UFEA has decided to sell the ticket from the spring of 2011 to see Euro 2012 Live. Certainly, there will be a shortage of tickets with respect of the huge fans. At least 1.40 million tickets will be put up for sale for 31 matches with the opening ceremony on the 8th of June in Warsaw and the final on the 1st of July in Kiev. The final of 2012 Euro cup will take part in Kiev, Ukraine. The Olympic is the largest Stadium that can hold up to 77,000 supporters. The opening ceremony and the semi-finals of Euro 2012 will be held at the National Stadium of Poland in Warsaw. This stadium can hold at least 50,000 fans. Donetsk Lvov, Gdansk, Wroclaw, Kharkiv and Poznan are the other venues of the tournament. In Euro 2012, you will find several ticket packs. There will be tickets for individual matches and also tickets for every 16 participating teams. Furthermore, UFEA will reserve some tickets for visual impairments and also for the wheel chair requiring positions.
The way of ticket delivery will be confirmed as soon as the tickets of the tournament are printed. Many tickets will be shipped to various countries, so you can get those tickets in your country easily. But in the other hand, to see Euro 2012 Live, you need to go to the Ukraine and Poland to get those tickets just when the tournament will start. Or in case, you cannot go there, you can watch Euro 2012 Live directly on your PC, with an online stream.
